Max fee for BSC bridge#956

A .5% fee seems low but it gets ridiculous for large transactions when it used to be free. Make terrablock have to do a max fee… or drop them.

I agree and this makes sense. But Splinterlands doesn’t do what makes sense. So don’t expect this to happen. Just saying

Or reduce fee depending on SPS stack.
Or distribute some of the fees to SPS holders.

This is definitely an overwhelmingly unpopular move.
From a small static fee to unlimited fees is a crazy change IMO.

I just want to leave these comments here from the founder about why the change was made and why Terablock was chosen. I’m not dismissing any complaints about the fees, but I think having context about the reason for the choices is important.

They haven’t even explained how the terablock service works technically speaking… the employees in the townhall didn’t even know how it works.

Also seems like their product is not even functioning very well and is extremely slow. Every single discord comment is a complaint. Why didn’t the team negotiate a better rate if they were gonna switch to a vastly inferior product. Users got a worse product for a worse price.

They should not make a % fee this is nonesense a static fee or max fee makes so much sense. A bridge is not DEX…

For now I’m not moving any funds into Splinterlands, waiting to know what the team will do.
