Fix Daily Quest Timer#1213
We need a serious adjustment/fix to the new 24 hour daily timer that doesn’t start until you finishing claiming yesterday’s rewards. Please go back to 23 hours or even 23.5 hours so that we have a small opportunity to roll back our start time slowly. Being a few minutes late compounds over time and then you start later in the day and either play less or stay up later than you want trying to finish. It is extremely frustrating and needs to be adjusted for people that have a small window of time to play daily. We should not have to give up a day of rewards every time we want to rollback our time and wait like 40 hours before clicking claim just to reset the timer and hope you don’t start late again for infinite days in the future.
Keeping it small like 23 hours should prevent some bot from gaining a full extra day of rewards so there is no negative or con with a slight rollback being possible.
Worst case, at least let us restart our 24 hour clock every new season so maybe once every 15 days we can try for a better time, but right now it is a horrible system for many people.
I am sure I could come up with a few other ideas to fix this, but the simplist really seems to be to allow us to claim just slightly early so we can get ourselves back to a comfortable start time.
If you have solid reasons as to how this new system that doesn’t auto-start the timer and no longer rolls-back time slightly is the way you want it, please address your reasoning and explain how you feel it is correct. The adjustment would be a either a net zero or a win for everyone, no negatives seen with adjusting.
I would love to have the timer go back to 23 hours again!
this was one of the first things i noticed on new play… i havent even tried to stream since then since it would be impossible to keep it on a schedule without a rolling back timer…
Yes, that was i am saying right now in chat! I absolutly agree, couz it is needed time to refresh page, time to load new quest so my quest mooved on 15 minutes ahead.
